Gallatin, TN Farm Estate Renovation
With low-slung roof lines of the seventies, several challenges were presented with the considerable room additions to be added to the rear of this two story. We did not want to remove any of the original roof, but find ways of enhancing it. The new front columns are shorter and fatter and the entablature above is much bolder for a more authentic historical precedent. The rear is an eclectic and balanced blend of roof lines and parapet walls. The garage roof line and complimenting rear second-floor roof line are meant to compliment the existing horse barn and riding barn already existing on the farm.
